Lurker's Vent

I mostly lurk on here, but I did an intro a while back.  I come here often to read about people going thru similar issues and whatnot.  I just need to vent for a second.

I'm married with 4 kids, a yours-mine-&-ours situation.  There's just so much going on and I feel like screaming!  The worst of it is my DD2 (almost 2 yrs. old) has MRSA which keeps coming back.  It's so bad they have to keep draining the abcesses and sometimes have to pack it.  She is on antibiotics again and we're doing all we can to treat it.  Oh and it's mostly in her diaper area.  She has been potty training for a while but she's got a bit to go.  I'm so squeamish so it's hard to see her like this and take care of it but I do what I have to do!!

I have ringworm which is the most minor problem out of everything.  We also have bedbugs!  We have had them spray our entire house 3 times now and it's so expensive and so time consuming to clean up and do laundry.  Money is depressingly tight right now because of everything going on.

SS1 has been getting in trouble at school with general not listening and even talking back, so he had to miss a field trip and might miss another one.  This generally happens when he doesn't talk to or see his mom in a while.  It's been since New Year's, with an exception of one quick phone call a week after.  Let's not get started on that.

I really just want to cry like a baby!!  Vent over.  I know this all shall pass but it's not passing quick enough!  Thanks for listening!

Wow, I am so sorry for your DD that sounds horrible.  Of course I had to google what MRSA is.  After reading about that, and that you have ring worm, I would try to figure out how you got that and be overly cautious about germs.

My cousin had bed bugs in her house, while going through chemo for breast cancer.  It was hell for her.  I know what finally got rid of them was having a company come in and place some sort of heaters in her home to kill the bugs.  It sounded like it was similar to how they say to run all your stuff on a hot dryer cycle.
