Mini Pill question

Please don't flame me like you do on all other "am i pregnant?" questions, I've just never been on birth control until now. I had my baby boy 3 months ago. Went on the mini pill on April 15, which was the first day of my period. I messed up and forgot a couple days so decided to stop taking it so I dont mess up, and start again on the first day of my next period. Well it's been 32 days now since I took the first pill, and 4 weeks since I stopped taking the pill. My period is not back and I'm a little worried. Hoping it is because of the pills that I don't have my period, but I only took them for 9 days. My normal cycle is usually 28 days on the dot. Thanks for reading.
 
(p.s. I know it's too soon to freak about being pregnant, so I guess my main question is, would 9 days of taking the pill cause my period to be gone or late?)

    It's a definite possibility that stopping mid-pack can make your cycle go out of whack.

    I'd test once a week until AF shows up. Because youre just 3 mo pp your body is still trying to get back to normal. If you don't want to be pregnant, use condoms or abstain until AF shows up and you can start another pack. And make sure you take the next pack every day at exactly the same time. Otherwise the mini pill isn't effective.
