I can't, but I have seen numerous people on here say that they can so who knows. I for one can't tell what is what in there or WTH my little guy is doing! I never know where his head is or what I am feeling. With my last pregnancy I remember my dr telling me that he was head down and I had no idea so it's definitely possible that your LO turned and you didn't realize it. Good luck!
oh yeah. DS turned at 30 weeks from breech to transverse and stayed that way until 33 wks. It was painful. Then I felt him turn head down and KNEW what was going on. The later in the pregnancy the more you feel them.

My baby was in the transverse position for quite a while and apparently has his head down now. I did not feel him move into this position. I have no clue where any of his body parts are either. Sometimes I feel a hard lump near my upper stomach and I think that is his butt, but that is all I can tell. I do think my belly looks a little less wide now that he is head down and not laying completely sideways.
LO was breech two weeks ago - one night I was watching my belly and it looked like waves rippling. It was the most intense (but not painful) movement I have had. I am guessing that is when she flipped but I am not positive.
i had some really painful feelings last week that landed me to L&D. everything checked out fine, but they did see that LO is now head down (he/she was breech two weeks ago) so they said the pains may have been the baby turning. so i'm not sure if thats what it was but it's possible! i've heard some people say they felt the exact big moment when the baby turned. maybe it depends how gradually it happened.

Oh yeah, I can feel it. I felt DD turn breech and then turn back with my last pregnancy. Then 2 weeks ago I felt this one turn breech. Just last night (well, 3:30am) I felt it turn back. I just came back from the midwife who confirmed it.
It's easier to know what you are feeling the later it happens because obviously the baby is bigger and has less room, so it's a lot more uncomfortable. I can tell when I feel a big bump on either side of my belly that the baby is sideways (one side is a head and one side is the butt). I felt it turn while I was putting DD back to sleep in her crib and it was actually kind of painful. The head was stuck by my right hip for about 10 minutes which hurt like hell, but then when the pain and the bump went away I knew the head was down.
Hang in there, you still have time. DD didn't turn back to head-down until 38 weeks. Believe me, you would feel that. Plus it took her 4 hours of scooting around in there to make the turn.
I can... It feels horrible!!! When she is flipping around I feel extra bloated and stretched, and over all pain. Once she gets to her new "hang out spot" the pain and discomfort goes away! Hope your lil one turns for ya! gl
