Hi There,
So, I'm a firm believer that most places around the world are not constantly connected to websites and books about how to have children; that when the time comes, my instincts will kick in and my body will know what to do. Perhaps I'm crazy, perhaps not.
Anyway, I'm three weeks away from my due date and would like to do a little reading on natural childbirth techniques.
Any tips on the best books or websites?
No, I did not take child prep classes, I had zero interest in them. But I would like some reading material if you all could help?
Re: Best Books/Websites?
There's a reading list in the unofficial faq in my siggy.
"The Birth Partner" is (IMO) the best practical guide to things to try.
I think that most of the world that succeeds at natural birth doesn't have any other options. It's harder if that's your desire but all you have to say is "drugs, please" and they dope you to your heart's content.

I read these three and loved them:
Ina May's Guide to Childbirth
Natural Birth: The Bradley Way
Natural Hospital Birth: The Best of Both Worlds.
I'm currently reading one from my midwife called "The Doula Book," it's got a lot of really interesting information in it too. Best of luck!
