Is it safe?

I m/c on Tuesday-is it safe to have sex?  When I went in to the office to confirm m/c I totally forgot to ask when it was ok.  Anyone know?

    My discharge papers after my D&C said to wait one week, and I've seen that other ladies here were told to wait two weeks (or more, depending on the situation). For me, I have to wait longer anyway since the bleeding hasn't stopped. I would call your OB to confirm and make sure you're cleared.

    I've read a min of 2 wks or longer if you're still bleeding. But I m/c naturally so you may have different "rules" with a D&C.

    I was told we could after two weeks, as long as the bleeding had stopped.

    I had a natural m/c and did not need a D&C.  I m/c on Monday, stopped bleeding by Thursday and the doctor told me that I could have sex again as soon as I felt ready.

    D&C is 1-2 weeks, but keep in mind (since its come up a bunch of times recently) that you are super fertile right now. ?It is recommended that you wait at least 1 cycle before getting pg again because your lining of your uterus needs time to regenerate and you need time to rebuild the vitamins etc in your body.

    According to most docs, getting pg before ?AF comes the 1st time increases risk of another miscarriage so be really careful or better yet use a condom!
