dry cough, makes me throw up anyone else have this symptoms???

Hello, I am 11 weeks today, and for the past 3 weeks I havent feeling great, first I got and upper respitory infection, sinus infection, and bladder infection all-together with fever and body aches, anyway I went to the dr got on antibiotics and meds to take care of illnesses. I am ok now but this stubborn dry cough wont go away and is driving me crazy!!!!! it makes my stomach mussles hurt, and it makes me throw up as well, I've tried all home remedies, robitussin DM ( which is in the safe list), and nothing works, is anyone else going through all this?  I read it could be because my body is making a lot more fluids and lower inmunity system.... I dont know but If you know of something pleaseeeeee letttt mmmeeeee knowwww!  Thanks a lot, and good luck to all, God bless you

  • This is kind of along the same lines - I stopped taking my Claritin and now every once in a while I get this really try tickle that makes me cough - bad!  I haven't thrown up from it but I've come close!

  • Every time I cough I always have the urge to vomit.  I don't think there's any cure or medicine to help.  Just look fwd to 2nd trimester :)
  • In the same boat. I got flu-like symptoms last month, found out I was pregnant, and then near the end of the month I got this really bad dry cough. I had it for my last pregnancy, too. I hate to say it, but even with the help of medicine mine still hasn't gone away or lessened much. I have a feeling it will hang on for another month for me, but my immune system has always been pretty bad. Honestly, for me the vomiting from it isn't the bad part it's the fact that I've coughed so much that I've bruised and/or sprained my right rib cage from the excessive coughing. It hurts! :(
