Best Mother's Day gift EVER!!!

My baby girl is healthy!!!!

I was so hoping I would have my amnio results before Mother's Day, but after 5pm came & went, I just resolved to having to wait a little longer.  But the perinatologist actually called me this evening & left a message while I was giving DS a bath. I was so nervous to listen to the message, but it was good news! The best news ever, in fact!

I had no idea how much this was weighing on me until I just burst out crying as I was relaying the voicemail message to MH.

The results were best case scenario in that I passed my healthy, non mutated X chromosome to DD, so she will not be a Fragile X premutation carrier like me. (If I had passed my affected X, then it would have been a matter of what level of the premuation she would have).

I am really feeling blessed, having now dodged 3 complication bullets, so to speak.  

So happy mother's day to me & happy mother's day to all you ladies! I am truly grateful for all the support you've given me through this. You all are the best!Left Hug
