I recieved an envelope from my RE's office..

in TTC after 35

It contained 2 questionaires--1 for me and 1 for dh.  His is in English.  Mine is in Spanish.  Sigh--guess I will make a call tomorrow..

I sure hope this is not a sign that I have chosen the wrong path...

    You have got to be kidding me. Or you habla espanol? It doesn't look like you might be Latina from your little photo. Why would they do that? LOL

    On a serious note, I'm sure someone put a spanish version in the file drawer with the english ones and the person who grabbed two surveys didn't notice. But it was an office staff person-- not the RE-- who did that, so I think you're still in good hands.  Wink

    Not a sign!!! Positive thinking! Probably just a mistake :)

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Yay Llama!  Not about the Spanish questionnaire but your decision to see an RE! 

    How far is the office?  Can you swing by and get another one or can they fax/email it to you? 

    Me: 37 DH: 37 TTC since Jan 2012. RE consult and initial testing done in Aug 2012: SA fine, AMH 1.1 & HSG clear - on way to IUI but got BFP on 9/10/2012. m/c 10/3/2012 at 6w5d. BFP next cycle which was a c/p. IUI #1: Clomid 100mg 12/6= BFN. IUI#2 (unmedicated) Jan 2013 = BFN. Hysteroscopy 1/25/13. IUI#3 Clomid 100mg 2/23 = BFN IUI# 4: BFN. IVF #1 April 2013, BFP!  EDD 1/12/14 with Boy!

    Think of it as sign that your future child should be bilingual and will grow up to be a translator.  :)  I always laugh that I took my scuba classes in French, so luckily there are only hand gestures and not real "words" 80 feet below the surface. :)

     Definitely not a bad sign!  :)  Good luck!

    I speak only enough Spanish to order in a Mexican restaurant or to tell someone I don't speak Spanish..lol So I NEED an English version.  :)

    I called and they are going to send me a new one.  My appt is not til the 25th so I have time.  :)

    Thanks all!  I am going to look at this little error not as a sign of doom but as a little comic relief that I probably needed.  :) 

    On a positive note, I can compare dh's questionaire with mine and learn a little Espanol while I wait for my new one to arrive.
