What we did differently: BD ED during FW, first cycle with preseed
EDD - January 22, 2013

Symptoms -
6 dpo - Cold-like symptoms, stuffy nose and had a fever.
Monday was my birthday so I was all excited to head out after work! Still had a fever in the morning and decided to go to work anyway. I had a really intense cramp in my lower abdomen in the morning that only lasted for 10-20 seconds around 10am. (implantation, I'm guessing). I ended up coming home from work early because I started to feel faint, dizzy, hot and my back hurt like a mo-fo. My temperature was even higher when I got home so I took two tylenol and slept on the couch until dinner time.

8 dpo - Smelling onion EVERYWHERE and sometimes had a metallic taste in mouth after drinking water. Also any fried potatoes tasted weird (potato chips, actual fries). Also, and I'm not proud of this, cried during a Today segment - I'm not much a crier at all. I remember looking down and thinking WTF. Took a test at night BFN.

9 dpo - Woke up at 5:45, forgot to tempt and decided WTH let's take a test! Nothing seemed to happen so I left it on sink and went back to bed. I woke up an hour and a half later and saw a line after it had dried, but figured it was evap and told DH so. Got me thinking though...I decided to test with and FRER (second morning urine) and sure enough there was a faint line! The test tonight was also pretty faint, but I've been drinking water like nobody's business. I plan to test tomorrow morning with a digi.

How I Told DH:
This morning at 8:30a I decided to stick with the plan that I had using a onesie that I was going to surprise him. I made it until 3:00p, but I just ended up calling him at work because I couldn't wait. He is quite happy and we're still trying to wrap our minds around it. (He just wandered by and said "You're really pregnant, aren't you?" and kept walking).
DH says he began to suspect when I started sleeping in (sometimes sleeping through the alarm) because I'm usually out of bed before the alarm goes off, an instance when I was "extra" irritable, and when I told him how I cried at the Today show.

We're going to see his parents tomorrow when we fly out of town for a relative's wedding. We are going to present them with the onesie and a grandma card for Mother's day. We had thought about not telling anybody for several weeks, but decided to make an exception for immediate family.

I'm on to worrying again, but I'm telling myself to enjoy this and just take it one day at a time.
