She dropped

Some time during the night my baby girl decided there was more room under her than there was above her, and she dropped! 36 weeks on the nose and she has dropped into position. Today I feel like I am sitting on her head! Anyone else get this feeling after their baby dropped? I am interested to see what the doctor says tomorrow as far as progress goes.

    I feel like I'm squishing his head too or that he's hanging out more in my butt than anywhere else lol

    I feel the same way! Every time I bend over, sit on a hard chair, or pee I feel like I'm crushing her! Also, walking is so painful now! I'm glad my LO has dropped, but it's uncomfortable!

    Lol! This is exactly how I'm feeling!! I tried to describe it to H. I said "I feel like he's in my butt..." He laughed at me!

    I am sitting on his head right now and his little arms are constantly hitting my hipbones. I also waddle like I have a watermelon between my knees. at 33w5d I was just shy of 2cm dilated.

    Mine had dropped about two weeks ago.  However, today I feel as if she has dropped more.  I have all this pressure in the bottom of my tummy.

    These posts are so discouraging for me.  I know it doesn't matter, but I've never had that feeling.  I keep thinking that this LO is sitting lower than my DD ever did, but I know he/she is still so high. 

    Glad someone is making some progress!

    DD never droped and this one is still riding high.  I am hopiong I at least have progress this time around.  Last time I went until 41 weeks and 2 days with no progress and was induced.

    LO has dropped and my vag feels like someone punched it. Some days she rides lower than others... but she has definately moved into position and elbows me in my hipbones. It helps with the breathing thing a little bit but it makes me paranoid since im only 33 weeks... I keep thinking OMG is she coming early? I have a lot of BH too so I'm trying to chill out and watch for other signs... it's crazy!

    Don't feel bad, mine has been low for almost the entire pregnancy so "dropping" may not occur until he's exiting the birth canal.  I think second and subsequent time moms don't have the "dropping" until labor anyway...think I read that somewhere.
