O'ing when hcg is still present?

I mentioned this in the charting post below but figured I'd start my own post instead of hijacking the other one.

FF is giving me CHs for last Thursday, and I might have had EWCM that same day (it was brown, so I recorded it as spotting, but it's possible it was EWCM because it had the right consistency). However, the following Monday my hcg was measured at 16, so on the day FF says I might have O'd, my hcg would have been a bit higher than that.

That's not possible, right? My temps are just messed up from the m/c? All the googling I've done says that O doesn't happen until after hcg has returned to 0, but I'm just wondering if anyone has had confirmed Oing when hcg wasn't 0 yet.

    I guess it's "possible", but not very likely. I'm not convinced that you've O'd, looking at your chart. Hopefully, your next 2 temps will provide an answer.

    When I had a blighted ovum a few years ago, I didn't ovulate until my pregnancy tests were negative. On the bright side, my m/c cycle was only 6 weeks long, so not that much longer than normal.

    Thank you - I'm not convinced I O'd either (my post O temps are usually more like what I got today), but at this point am just plain confused. You're right that 6 weeks isn't that much longer, even though at the moment it seems like forever. How soon after your HPTs were negative did you O?

    I met with my Dr yesterday who told me that as soon as the MC bleeding stops your body can O. He said even if your HCG isnt at 0. He said as long as your uterus is free of pregnancy tissues you O pretty much right away and can get pregnant even before your next period.

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    Ok, so it *is* a possibility... Sigh... I mean, it would be great if I O'd because then AF can come and I can move on, but I'm just totally confused. If it really was O last Thursday, then I'll be on a road trip when I would expect AF, so I'll be sure to pack accordingly.

    Btw, where did you get this info? Do you have a study you can link or was it something your doctor told you?
