Its official...I've lost my mind

in 1st Trimester
I may not have nausea...but I've turned into a giant idiot. My brain cells have exited the building. DH built me a garden this spring and I've been tending to it and I love it. I got a drip hose to water it  so the water wouldn't make the baby plants fall over from the weight. So before dinner tonight I turn it on and when did I turn it off...3.5hrs later. Ugg. Pregnancy brain fail.

    Whoops...    It's ok.  This happens even with non-pregnancy brain.   Last year I started the sprinkler at 6 pm and forgot it was on.  That is until my husband came home at 4 in the morning after work and gave his opinion on that one.  :/

    Wow I am glad that I am not the only who is doing this. Today my husband found the jar of peanut butter in the freezer, guess i put it when there when i was unpacking groceries this morning. now lets see if I can iron with no problems.

    That's okay. I tried to put the bag of spinach in the cupboard instead of the fridge. DH must have it too because the ice cream spent the night in the fridge, not the freezer. I hope you find your mind again, OP.

    The first day I found out I was pregnant I threw away $160 and had to go dumpster diving to find it, I was distracted when I was handling the money but I blamed it on pregnancy brain because that made me feel better than thinking I was really that dumb.

    Doh! At least we have something to attribute it to right now! I have been doing the same kind of stuff (cheese in the cabinet, cereal in the refrigerator, etc). I'm a mess. :)

    I've had a few pregnancy brain moments! :)

    When I am not pregnant I have ditzy moments, now I actually have something to blame it on.

    Playing cards with the neighbors last night required adding up the points in my hand when someone went out. I found it difficult to do simple math at the end of some of the hands. I'm very good at math, so I thought I was losing my mind! Thanks for making me feel not alone =)

    Yeah..I went to get my car tag renewed the other day & I only filled out part of my check & handed it to the lady. She looked at me like I was crazy & actually had to point out what I had to fill out! Same day...went to get inspection sticker for my car & was told to turn on my blinker. Turned on my windshield wipers, then proceeded to freak out bc I couldn't figure out why the blinker was on the other side of the steering wheel! You are NOT alone!! lol

    brain cells have left the building! lol put the dry dog food in the freezer the other night... left the oven on for 20+ min after dinner last night... and I already forgot what it was, but DH said to me the other night "I know your pregnant, but next time can you ..." (I told you, I forgot what he was asking me, but I remember him saying it...) LOL!

    I think my mouth flew the coop with my brain.  I'm a teacher and will call a particular student's name, then get angry b/c they aren't responding/listening.  Turns out I wasn't calling that student, I was calling someone elses name. I mumble and misspeak all the time now.

    It's hide and seek when it comes to where my car keys will end up.
