yummy red raspberry tea?

I'm not a big tea drinker but would like to start trying this next week. Anyone have one they like?

Re: yummy red raspberry tea?

  • If you are talking about the kind that people drink during pregnancy, it's raspberry LEAF tea and it's in the natural food section.  red rasp. tea is not the same.

  • Yep.  What PP said.  It is red raspberry leaf tea.  Not to be confused with just raspberry flavored teas.

Red raspberry LEAF tea does not taste like raspberries... and they don't really make ones that are different or taste yummier than other ones.  It all just tastes like red raspberry leaf tea.  lol.  I personally like it, but I also just like tea.  Lots of women say they think it tastes bad.  Sorry.

  • I bought loose red raspberry leaf and brew my own tea and chill it. You can add a little sugar, honey or fruit...but it does taste very earthy

  • Ditto PPs that it must be red raspberry LEAF if you want a uterine toning benefit. As for making it taste appealing--you can sweeten with sugar or honey, brew it in apple juice, or add an additional partial tea bag of a flavor you like. My MW has patients drink a quart a day through the whole PG, so I brew the whole quart at a time and add in half a tea bag of another flavor I like: orange, peppermint, chai, etc. Also, I find it tastes different at different temps: hot vs. room. vs cold. I switch it up.
