Red Raspberry Leaf Tea

I was just looking at a thread from a few days ago and noticed some ladies had asked about red raspberry leaf tea and where they could get it.  It is suppose to be great stuff.

"Rich in iron, this herb has helped tone the uterus, increase milk production, decrease nausea, and ease labor pains.  Many of the ?Pregnancy Teas? commonly contain red raspberry leaf to help promote uterine health during pregnancy." ~  https://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancyhealth/herbaltea.html

In the past I've bought the Traditional Medicinals brand from Kroger in the Nature's Market section.  However, this past Sat. I bought it online here:  https://www.bulkherbstore.com/Mamas-Red-Raspberry-Brew_Organic

Has anyone used it before and found it to be helpful?

red raspberry leaf tea is certainly not bad for you during pregnancy, but it's really not as special as many people/companies make it out to be. In order to actually get the benefits from it, you would have to drink SO much in a day that it just isn't practical. If you like tea and like the flavor, by all means drink it, but it's not a miracle drink

Could have been a coincidence, since I was 39w5d, but I drank about 5 cups of it and went into labor with my first daughter later that night.

I bought it again yesterday, so we'll see!

Also, when not pregnant, it helps menstrual cramps.

I just bought the Traditional Medicinals brand yesterday, but I haven't made any yet.  I had it in my mind that it was one of the "natural induction methods," but now reading more about it I guess not ... more just a healthy pregnancy / easier labor thing.  Maybe I should have started drinking it a long time ago.

I drank it like crazy starting at 35 weeks and at 38 weeks exactly I had my baby with really short labour.  The nurses and doc were blown away with how fast I progressed from 0cm to push-time.

Was it your first or 2nd baby?  How much did you drink?
