Question for 2nd+ time mommies

I know every pregnancy is different, but I am just curious (I am a FTM) as to how close or far away you were to your expected due date with your first pregnancy? Thanks:)

Mine didn't count, I was induced the day before and delivered via emergency c/s the next day on my EDD.

ETA: I say it "didn't count" b/c I didn't go into labor naturally...

Why I ask is that DH is overseas, and we are trying to plan his r&r around my due date, he put in for a couple days before my due date (he wants enough time to spend with the baby too) I guess we'll have to see as the date gets closer?! I know everyone is different.. but thank you for your answers ladies

DD was due on June 21st. I had a membrane sweep done on June 11th and she was born the very next day so June 12th, which made her 9 days early.

1st pregnancy DD was 5 days late. 2nd pregnancy DD was 5 days early.

I was a week overdue and then induced, which failed and resulted in a c/s. I guess I followed in my mother's footsteps as 3 out of 4 of her kids were 2+ weeks late, but they weren't as concerned about inducing back then.

DD1: born on her due date

DD2: born 4 days late

DS: induced at 41w6

So unfortunately my pregnancies just get longer and longer. However, my labors do get cut in half by almost half each time (13h, 7h, 4.5h)

My EDD was 12/9. I measured 6 days ahead at my first dating u/s but my doctor didn't change my EDD. I delivered on 12/3.

#1: 3cm and 80% effaced and also lost my mucus plug all at 37w. I was induced at 38w exactly due to pre-e.

#2: 4cm at 34w, 6cm (!!!) at 36w5d and 90%. I walked around like that for almost 3 weeks and was induced at 39w due to pre-e. Who knows how much longer that mess would have been going on.

This is baby #3 and because of my mid-September EDD, there's not a shot in hell I'll make it that far. I'll likely be induced again (due to pre-e) around 38w.

I had a c/s, but was actually in labor! 10 days before my due date.

One thing to consider--how did your sister/mom go into labor? My mother was always 2 wks to 10 days early... And so was my sister.

With DD1, I was induced at 38w6d due to low amniotic fluid.

With DD2, I went into labor late at night at 39 weeks (actually 38w3d going by ovulation instead of LMP) and gave birth at 39w1d (or 38w4d by ovulation).

My due date was July 10th, I delivered by induction (vaginal, not c-section thankfully) on July 22nd.

So I was 12 days late.

I went 1 week over with #1 and 10days over with #2. That being said if they hadnt changed my 'due date' at that 12 week dating ultrasound they both would have been within a couple days of their due date. I was measuring 3 days ahead with this one and I said leave the date alone....

I was 5 weeks early, but I think that is the exception (I've had pre-term labor issues with all 3).

On average, FTMs tend to go to (or past) their due date. The numbers are a little off sometimes because some Drs will induce between 39-40 weeks without medical reason.
