Success after IF

Anyone have late pregnancy Nausea?

The last 3 days I've been nauseous on and off all day. It doesn't seem related to hunger or eating, smells aren't seeming to trigger me...nothing in particular seems to be triggering it. Just wondering if this is perhaps common? I feel guilty admitting this, but I'm really ready to meet this little girl, and give my body a break.

Re: Anyone have late pregnancy Nausea?

  • Common because of the stomach being pushed up.  I did have it...but I had it on and off the entire time.

However, it can (I am not saying it is...I don't want to worry you) be a symptom to other conditions including Hellp so I would tell you to call your dr. and just let them know.

It could also be some sort of stomach thing.

I would call to be on the safe side.  They also might give you some ideas how to get rid of it if it isn't anything.

I really didn't want to scare you but I didn't want to not tell you about the other stuff also.

  • Ditto the previous poster.  It's probably nothing at all and/ a form of heartburn because your LO is pushing everything upwards!  That said! I'd still let your OB know, and consider going in for a blood pressure check.  (A good friend of mine convinced herself she had food poisoning and it was really preeclampsia!). Especially if you have anything else at all going on (swelling in your face, sudden weight gain, headaches, visual disturbances, etc.). GL!
  • Me, me, me!  I used to pick my dinner by what would be easy to throw up later on that night.  I was sick every night later in my pregnancy and I attribute it to the horrible heartburn and how slow your digestion gets.

It's bad but you're almost to the end!

Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

  • While I agree it is probably nothing, I was sick, vomitting, throughout my entire pregnancy, but when it kicked up, and I was throwing up violently with more frequency, it was advanced pre-eclampsia. So call your doc just in case.
