random sharp pain

Does anyone know if it's normal to have a sharp (almost stabbing) pain on the side of your groin area? I had it the first time two nights ago in bed, and I just had it again. It only lasts like 10-15 seconds and then I'm fine....

Is this something I should be concerned about?

I get that every once in awhile too. But it's not like a stabbing pain, mine doesn't necessarily "hurt" but its uncomfortable like a pressure i guess.

I had this on Friday for about 2 hours on and off and I called my OB. They said it was more than likely just the muscles and tendons stretching and moving. She said it isn't anything serious unles you have bleeding or discharge. If it was to continue, I should go to the ER. I went home and relaxed that evening and I've been fine since. I would just watch how often it happens and if you are worried, going to the dr. or ER won't hurt, it will only put your mind to ease.

Sounds like round ligament pain to me. I get this when I sneeze or get up too fast. My doctor said it is normal and might get worse in the next few weeks but should go away by 19-20 weeks. It may come back later in 3rd trimester.

this! I was in the bathroom at work and stood up and WAM lol. I was nearly doubled over in pain for like 15 seconds and then was fine!

The first time it happened I was in bed though. (but I might have just rolled over..i'm a HUGE tosser)
