Noelle Elizabeth Coonelly was born at 3:54am this morning. She is 34 weeks, 6 days. When we got to triage on Sunday afternoon, I was dialated at 4cm. They sent me to get an ultrasound, and they told me that everything was okay with baby. They were going to send me home. But then they rechecked me, and I was dialated at 6cm. So I was admitted to Labor & Delivery. They broke my water on Sunday night at 10:40pm. And we waited for me to dialate more. In the middle of the night, they gave me 2 drops of pitocin. And that is all it took. If you heard a pregnant woman screaming from Seattle at 3am-4am in the morning (April 30th), that was me. I think I was a little too confident with natural childbirth. My son's birth was a lot faster, and I forgot how painful it was. I was a basketcase when I was fully dialated. I forgot what the nurse told me to do. My legs were shaking. Luckily, the obgyn and nurses directed what to do. The hardest part was getting her out. She is 6 lbs, 1.1oz and 18 3/4 in length. Hopefully, I can go home tomorrow, and Noelle should have a short stay in the NICU/ISCU.

Had there been indications that you might go into labour early?
Congrats! That's a great birth weight for 34wk6dys. I hope that means she'll be ready to go home quickly.
Love the name - that was the other choice when we were naming DD. I still like it.
