This is a group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP. Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions.

Newbie after 2 losses in 19 cycles of actively trying.. de bumped in January and coming back. My name is Bonnie and my former sn is Bonzerelli (?) My last loss was in January and it hit me fairly hard, and we decided we needed a break from all the baby making craziness. DH and I are currently TTA while I am working on my degree in Animal Science, but hopefully will be TTCing again soon..I finally came back because I was really missing the boards.. and all you fine ladies.
I guess my doppleganger would be a chubbed out Maggie Gyllenhal with really curly hair
I'm a newbie that's been TTC for 21 months. We had a CP in March, then a m/c at 5 weeks at the beginning of April. Now I'm on progesterone to try and jump start my period, since I never really bled after my miscarriage. It always makes me feel so depressed, so now I'm just counting down the days until I can stop taking it - 4 more to go. Hopefully CD1 will be here before the next weekly check in, so that we can start treatments again!
My husband has always said my doppelganger is Amy Lee.

Update: I am currently still waiting for either AFor a BFP... Charting isn't working out for me and my cycle is driving me crazy!
QOD: I don't really have a doppleganger. Not someone who is famous anyways.. But once my aunt called my cell phone and yelled at me for not visiting her while I was in upstate NY... She was apalled that she saw me at the mall. I laughed because I was in CT and had to call her from my house phone to prove it to her. So I guess I have a look a like out there somewhere.

QOTD: I don't think I have a doppelganger. People always tell me "I look so familiar", but never anyone in particular.
Still waiting on AF. I called the doctor as it has been six weeks- and they told me to wait another 4 weeks and if it doesn't come I'll get on Provera. Still TTA for now and unsure when we will be TTC as our health insurance fell through and I currently have no health insurance
As far as doppleganger...I have no clue! : (
Hi Ladies. Not much of an update, my follow up appt following d&c is FINALLY this Fri. Dr said she'd have results from genetic testing and we'll also discuss further testing.
Hmmm...I've often been told that I look like Jewel. Not sure...
4 Losses (2003, 2008, Apr 2012, & Oct 2012)
All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal
5 IUIs = BFN

Hello LIW, I am back from vacation and now in the 2WW, This is my first cycle TTC since the miscarriage, so I am crossing fingers and toes that I will have good news in the weeks to come. If anyone is looking for a 2WW buddy let me know!
As for the QOTD: I have a lot of older people (think WWII generation) say that I look just like Vera Ellen, actually I hear that very frequently, and she was awfully talented and a nice lady so I will accept that, as for anyone in popular culture I don't know that I look like anyone.
Update: Just waiting for O to be confirmed. FF hasn't given me cross hairs yet (I think in a big part to my absolutely terrible temping times this cycle) but I think Wednesday was the day.

Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation.
Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP! EDD: 6/7/14

Hi ladies, I've been MIA from these boards since December and decided to get back on since I missed it. DH and I are currently waiting for a BFP. I've pretty much stopped charting except recording my menstruation on FF. Charting just stressed me out so bad. After we stopped charting the last time, that is when we got our second BFP...so fingers crossed.
Hugs to all the ladies who are having a really tough time right now. Whenever I'm sad or anxious I always surround myself with friends and family. Or my new fave thing is to hit the gym. I've lost 30 pounds so far! And DH has lost 38...we feel so much better!

I am sorta a newbie. I was a lurker/infrequent poster in Trouble TTC last summer but took a break due to my crazy job schedule.
DH and I have been TTC for 25 months. Had our first BFP in March, but at 10W appt found out baby quit developing 6-7W. Took Misoprostol on Friday to avoid D&C. Not much activity so worried that I will need D&C anyway. I know there are so many encouraging stories out there so, thought I would come back. I guess I am waiting for AF, though from the sounds of it, it could be several weeks. GREAT! I am not known for my patience!
QOTD: Not sure who my doppelganger is...I used to get Cameron Diaz, though I was never that pretty, so it must have been my mannerisms. Haven't heard any comparisons in years!

Update: I am in the 2ww..but it took FF two times to give me cross hairs...it did, then took them away....I have been waking up too many times during the night....three times this week I woke up around 3:30 and had to take my temp then as I knew I would not get three hours before my alarm went off....that messed things up! Finally FF gave me the cross hairs back. We timed it well, but I am not feeling particularly confident. Hope I am wrong!

TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!

Today is cycle day 51 and I'm still really confused by my temps. Got a new thermometer today, I'm thinking about temping twice each day to see if my thermometer might be the problem. At least, emotionally, I'm in a much better place than I was in last week. Any vibes you can send for AF would be great, though!

I agree, I think there's a good possibility you did O last Wednesday. However, so many of the same temps... is your thermometer bad? I know some ladies have complained of getting 'favorite temps' with CVS Target's BBTs- hopefully that's not the case! I think your chart is showing a 'slow-rise pattern', which may take a couple more days to clearly detect O since the temp increases are minor and gradual.

Happy Monday, LIW!! Welcome to all the new ladies.
Update: We went camping this weekend with the in-laws and had a really good time, despite the freezing temps. Right now I believe I am in the 2ww, eventhough FF has yet to give me my crosshairs. This is probably because I have been very forgetful with my temps this month. We are TTA, so I haven't been so good about it. I guess I will just be guessing as to when AF will show up again...
Other than that, I am looking forward to my appointment. (On Friday...don't know if I mistyped before, sorry BEB!) Apparently we don't have any MFM's where I live, so we have to drive 2 hours to Pittsburgh for the appointment. So DH and I are going to make a day of it, with lunch and then hitting the outlets on the way home!! Yeah!
Doppleganger-Going by the definition, I would say my mom and I are dopplegangers. Does that count? We are so much alike it is scary sometimes.

Thanks for the welcome last week buckeyebabe and csuperstar! I had never participated in a check-in before, and I think you ladies are super sweet and doing a lovely job with this one.
I'm doing okay--up & down. The down: Had a really hard day hearing about my pg BFF's a/s and gender reveal (even though I skipped the part of the party where they told everyone the gender, as I mentioned in the Thurs check in). I'm supposed to plan her baby shower this summer. Sigh.
The up: I went to my first aerial yoga class with a friend and it was fabulous. It's like yoga with a dash of acrobatics involving big Cirque-du-Soleil-style silk swings. I realized at the end of class that I had gone an entire hour without doing battle with my nagging, oppressive sad feelings. It was such a feeling of relief. My DH said he felt like he was getting me back that evening after my class. I hope so--I want me back too.
QOTD: Several people looking at my wedding pictures independently said I looked like Anne Hathaway, but I haven't really gotten that based on how I look in regular life. I've gotten Penelope Cruz a few times, but my sister is her true doppelganger (she gets it all the time), so I know I'm 2nd rate impostor at best.
I think mainly it's just hair/eye color we have in common.
Thanks for the welcome back BEB! Also, LOVE the bible verse today...reminds me that it's about time for me to go brush up on 1 Samuel, it always makes me feel better!

Update: Still in my 2ww. AF is due at the end of the week. This is the first cycle that I have not been a basket case over (but there still is time for that to happen). I almost feel the way I felt for the past 2 years, where I just expected AF to show up and had little to no hope of a BFP. I am kind of letting myself feel this way (and not viewing it as a pessimistic attitude) because it means that I do not get as upset when AF shows.
QOTD: I do not know of a celebrity doppleganger, but my aunt and I could be twins. My grandmother calls my by my aunts name all of the time, even my cousin (when she was young) would call me mom.

I am currently waiting to O/waiting for AF to GTFO. Also, as of today, I'm waiting to lose about 30 lbs (does that even count as something to "wait" for?? I'm obvi not just sitting around waiting for it to happen; just getting back on track).
QOTD: I'm not sure that I have a doppleganger either. I've always gotten a lot of, "I know you from somewhere..." but can't put their finger on it.
Update: Nothing too new in the land of "my body continues to fail me time and time again," you all know that place, right? I spent all of this week recovering from surgery #1 and just started feeling a little better, and now surgery #2 is tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, as nervous as I am, because I will be that much closer to this whole debacle being over. As far s TTC, since we had to TTA this cycle due to everything, I said screw the charting and stopped because it was making me that much more upset that we had to unexpectedly TTA. I'm just praying that AF comes at a good time, once the last stint is removed next week, so we can get back to TTCAL ASAP!
QOTD: Back when I was blonde (I was blonde for my whole life and then just dyed my hair dark about a year ago) I used to get that I looked a lot like Carrie Underwood. But, my mom and I are also scarily alike - looks, mannerisms, we show up places wearing the same clothes, it's pretty freaky.

I'm officially waiting to test. I'm hoping AF doesn't show up! I'll test on Saturday. Kinda nervous, kinda excited but still very hopeful.
We did our March of Dimes walk this past weekend and it was so much fun! It was a lot more than 3 miles as they advertised but it was still a lot of fun.
I hate to tell you to spend more money, but it really does sound like a thermometer issue. Fx you're still able to detect O, although like I said, I think you already may have!
