? for all runners/gym fanatics and 2ww...

   Is it really necessary to "take it easy" during 2ww??   I workout 5 times a week.  My workouts usually consists of weight training for about 45 minutes give or take followed by running anywhere from 2-5 miles (depending on how my knees are behaving).  

   I've read numerous of conflicting point of views and wanted to know what you girls have done, and if you've had a BFP after continuing the intensity of your workouts during 2ww.

  • I would not take it easy in the 2ww unless a doc instructed me to after a procedure.

  • I don't believe in taking it easy during the 2WW until a doctor tells me to.  I'm training for a triathlon and so there is no "taking it easy" at any point.

  • I got a BFP while marathon training, I was running 40+ miles a week plus doing crossfit/kettlebell classes.  So definitely wasn't taking it easy.

  • I never did and I'm doing my best to continue running at the same intensity and same weekly mileage as I did before, now that I am pregnant (just 5 weeks)

    Me too!  I had a 20 mile marathon training run during my 2 week wait for my first pregnancy so I really was not taking it easy.

  • Never took it easy in the TWW. Got my last BFP when I was working out hard 6 days a week.

  • I lift weights and am training for a marathon.  I don't do anything different during the 2WW.
  • I was running anywhere from 2-5 miles as well when we started trying.  I toned it down to just 2 miles once we started TTC.  I got my BFP the first month.

  • I carried on with my workouts as usual.

     

    With my first pregnancy, I was dancing and performing 10 hours a day. 

  • I personally didn't change a thing either time and am an avid runner (4-6 miles most days).  Had no issues!
