that was depressing. Everyone tells me that I don't look like I just had a baby and that I look so good, so I wanted to see if I fit into my jeans. I couldn't even zip them up an inch... I guess I'm going to be wearing yoga pants for awhile.
I'm a month ahead of you and was excited to be able to pull them over my butt this weekend. Zipping isn't even possible. I'm slimming down from the top down, and none of the thinning has reached my hips yet.
Yeah.. I'm afraid my hips have expanded. I tried to put on a pair of non-mat jeans last week and couldn't even get them over my hips. I was able to get a pair of shorts up, but I couldn't zip or button. lol. My stomach looks normal, so it's either my hips or my ass. Or both.
My stomach isn't as flat as before plus I used to work out a lot before I got pregnant so I'll need to build my muscles back up. Everyone used to say how I was just all baby, I guess I had myself fooled too cause I was hips and thighs also, haha.
I tried mine on too since my stomach is flat, but they weren't even close to fitting. My hips and thighs were big to begin with so I'm really hoping they go back to normal in the next few weeks.

I haven't even had the baby yet but I'm not planning on trying on my pre-preg jeans for a whiiiile after the birth. I figure I can make it through the summer in sun dresses and then I'll never really know how much my body has changed until the fall when I'm forced into my jeans. This might be an unrealistic plan, haha.

I tried on my "fat shorts" and apparently I'm still fatter than that. I've lost 30 of the 40 pounds. Last night a male neighbor asked when I was due. Sweet.....just when you think you're doing good.....

I haven't tried my pre-preg jeans (mostly 2's and 4's), but I can get into my first tri 6's. They zip, but the resulting muffin is definitely not yummy, so I'm still wearing my too big mat jeans. I'm jealous of those of you who have a normal tummy. I'm a jiggly sag-fest.
Yep same here. I am 8 week PP and I couldn't even get them over my hips. I thought no biggie I do still have about 10 pounds to go before I am back to my pre-pregacny weight. So i went to the thrift store to get some normal jeans so I could finally stop wearing maternity jeans. I am used to wearing 4's or 6's. So I grab 8's and 10's thinking they'd fit. Nope. Hello 12's. Now thats what depressed me.
I can't wait to have my body back.
Same exact thing for me!!! (You made me feel better.) My 12s are a little snug in the tummy though, but any bigger was looking silly on me, because they only fit one spot on my body.
Re: So, I tried on a pair of my pre-pregnancy jeans yesterday...
.....not even gonna try.
