Any IUI success stories?

Hi everyone, first off, congrats on your pregnancy!

I just had my first IUI on Tues & Wed (b2b) and am currently in the 2WW. I'm trying to remain as calm as possible but I can't help but just want to know already! Anyone here get pregnant with IUI? If so, which cycle and with what meds? Thanks!

The only added is that we did have mild MFI. His numbers post wash was always in the 8 mil range.

I got my BFP with my 2nd IUI. I was on 150 mg Clomid CD 3-7, we did a single IUI 24 hours after a + OPK (no trigger).

Good luck, I know the 2ww is torture.

I have had 3, all w/ follistim and a hcg trigger

#1: not successful

#2: BFP (though ended in miscarriage

#3 BFP (current pregnancy)

Do you know how many follicles you had?

I am 29 weeks pregnant with twins after IUI #1. The issues were all on my end; DH's #s were normal to "locker room swagger".

I, on the other hand, was on 450 iu of Menopur a night!

I did! I had 3 IUI's, all with femara and ovidrel trigger.

#1: BFP but unfortunately ended in m/c
#2: negative (we tried meds on different cycle days, didn't work)
#3: BFP!! 26 weeks pregnant with a little girl!

GL - the 2ww is so hard. I hope this is it for you.

Details in siggy, but here they are again...4th iui worked, we used frozen donor sperm, the cycle that I got pregnant on, the count was 9 million. I used Follistim, and ovidrel, endometrin, and pio.

I got pregnant on a Clomid/IUI. I have DOR - AMH=0.54, FSH= 13.3. DH didn't have any problems. We just did one IUI. The put about 200 million sperm in me post-wash. Good luck to you!

fantine31-Unfortunetly only 1 follicle. Sad It was 19mm when I triggered.

IBackBevo-200 million sperm?! Wowzers! And here I was impressed with my husband's 50 million sperm!

1 follicle is ok! I think they are looking for 1-2 good follicles.I had one my first time (BFN) and one the second time (BFP). (We had 3 this current time and are expecting quints... so you may not want too many follicles!) But don't get discouraged of if doesn't work for you this time bc you can always try again! Hope everything works out for you!

fantine31-Quints, wow. Congrats x's 4! I definitely wouldn't want more than 3 follies but I was hoping for at least 2. Oh well, it only takes 1 egg and 1 sperm, right?
