DS2's book bag

DS2 tries to steal DS1's book bag lately so we found one of DS1's small book bags and gave it to DS2. He loved it. He happily walks around dragging it and putting things in it. We're going to look at a house soon so I grabbed the bag to put diapers in it thinking that we would use that today. When I opened it, I found our Xbox remote, a sesame street book (thanks again to our secret elf!), a decorative stick from one of my plants, his sippy cup and a baby spoon. haha.

That's so cute! I went to return something the other day. I had put hung the bag on the closet door so I wouldn't forget it when I left. When I got to the counter to check out, I found that Ava had loaded it up with her book, an old birthday card, a bib and (my favorite) a bottle of chives from the pantry.

Hmm, maybe I should bust out DS' bookbag. My cousin got him a cute personalized seersucker one when he was a few days old and we've never used it.

Oh this is all so cute! I like that DS2 was prepared to go anywhere once he packed his sippy and I love that Ava packed the chives! C has a bag at DC that hangs on his hook. They have these Fisher Price plastic beads that he loves and he steals the red ones all. the. time. DCPs and I always do bag checks now before we leave because he's a bit notorious about it.

That is so adorable!

DS was carrying around his insulated food bag yesterday before we went out & I asked him if he was ready to go off to school. I swear MH drew a tear b/c he was like, omg stop! I just had a total flash forward! I am not ready! haha

I had to stop leaving my laptop bag on the floor, because every day, I would find a different toy inside of it. LOL

DS likes to put toys (and food) in my shoes. I guess it's logical since we can't go anywhere if Mommy doesn't have on her shoes but it's gross sticking your foot in food. Now we have to do shoes checks.

ETA: I totally need to buy J that book now that he is obsessed with Elmo
