PP bleeding - um, how big are your clots?

I passed one earlier today that was maybe a little smaller than a golf ball and called the OB's office. The nurse said it sounded fine. I just passed another that was at least one and a half times as big as that one. I'm not soaking through pads in an hour or anything, but my bleeding is pretty heavy (although no heavier than the last few days). Still normal?

    At 1w2d I thought I might be dying. Every time I went to the bathroom there was a clot around the size of a golf ball to an egg, it was triggered 1) by hosting Easter dinner 2) straining to go #2 (seriously hurt myself). I was going to call the office the next morning, but thankfully it had let up so I just sat on the couch the next 2 days and didn't forget my stool softener.

    Totally normal, I had five in a row the first time I stood up after my c-section that all came out at once the size of flattened tennis balls.  I didn't know it was normal and called the nurse.  My DH said I was acting like I was going to die.  WELL, what would you do if you have five ginormous clota come out of your body!!!!

    I only had 1 big one and I called and they weren't worried since it was only one

     Since then its not a lot of bleeding but still very red

    Flattened tennis balls here...

    Ughughughugh....now I'm having flashbacks.

     

    It freaked me out SO bad because I felt it come out when I was peeing and was convinced that my tear was so bad that I had poo'd out of my v.

    As long as you aren't going thru a pad every 1-2hrs, you're okay.

    okay, i was kind of freaking out  last night when i posted.  but then i was really tired, so i fell asleep. lol. no more clots this morning. i was trying to poop when the big one happened.

    I'm still pregnant but in my childbirth class they told me anything smaller than a golfball was normal. Which frightens me. Maybe being still pregnant isn't so bad...

    Looks like we gave birth on the same day! I am still having clots as well. They are large like half dollar size.

    still normal, try taking some alfalfa pills that should help as well
