About to give up on the ring sling. Help.

I got a ring sling and lo does not like it. I think she doesn't like being confined - she cries about 80% of the time I put her in it. I want to put her in with her legs out but I just can't figure it out

Any advice, helpful websites, anything that could help me? Please and thank you.

my daughter hated the ring sling too. I traded it in for a mei tai and we both love it.

Yep, this. My LO never liked the RS either...and I didn't like it because no matter what I did his chunky legs would turn blue. I traded for a mei tai and have never looked back.

Can you post a picture? That would be helpful - we can see if you're wearing it too tight/low/high/whatever.

The best thing I can tell you is that I tried to carry them in the sling the way they liked to be carried in my arms. For me, this meant that they were both completely upright and much higher up than a lot of people carry in a sling.
