so.. remember when I said I felt like I was further along..

in December 2012 Moms

well there is a good reason for that.. I am having twins! OMG.  I can't believe it! Neither of us have twins in our family.  They say its because I am older.  One is 7wks 1 day and the other is 6 weeks 3 days.  I am floored right now and totally shocked!  Both have good hearts beats and look great...

OMG.

    me too and they didn't seem to raise a red flag about it.  She said the heartbeats were good.  Told me to come back in two weeks.

    Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

    IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.

    Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

    Yay congrats!

    I felt the same way (feeling like I was further along) and it turned out to be twins. 

    Mine are measuring a few days apart but they told me that is normal and will probably continue to happen as they grow.  They monitor it and told me that it is only a concern if they start going weeks in difference.

    wow! well, congrats on twice the love! That is amazing how you could just tell something was different. I didn't realize that twins gestational ages could be that many days off.

    How amazing!! I had no idea that twins could have different ages in the womb! I knew that they could be different sizes coming out, obviously, but one of my PG books says that embryos grow at such a uniform rate until after week 12, that it's really predictable and accurate to date them based on the CRL. Just didn't know it was possible!!
