Just made a BM handling mistake

I pump twice a day at work. I just accidently poured about half an ounce of warm breastmilk into the already chilled milk.

Sorry, I know this is such a stupid question, but did I just ruin the already chilled milk? I tried to look on KellyMom, but didn't see anything.

Step back from the ledge. It's ok. I did this for about 1 month before I found out I shouldn't. LO never was bothered by it and he was a tiny preemie then.

I think the knock on that is it will just make the milk spoil faster. So maybe use it sooner than you would have?

I go by the rule of sniff.

As I was pumping less and less I started combining the warm and cold milk. I was tired of washing 4-5 Ameda bottles when really all his milk for the day fit into two. He survived!
