Going off yesterday's post about refusing formula I have a couple of questions. When you offer it how much do you put in it? Also, if she doesn't drink all of it(let's just say it's 3oz and cold) what do you do with it? Do you put it back in the refrigerator or dump it?
Re: For those who have tried formula in the sippy.
last week we went thru a few days of not wanting the bottle. i always started with the bottle and she would drink 1-2 of 5. The remaining 3 I would put in an Avent sippy cup. (we use take and toss for water, but I have used Avent without the valve for formula for an easier time drinking). Since we already started with the bottle with all 5 ounces I put all remaining in and toss what she doesn't drink.
I have had to be creative with how I give it to her - my best bet is in the Bjorn bouncy chair, which is quite upright. She can sit in there and drink it no problem. (Also a good spot for her bottle). I have also found that if she is holding something in one hand, she will take the bottle or sippy as she is distracted. We are back to drinking, no issues, this week, knock on all the wood in this house, so I hope you are back to drinking too!
Wanted to add: we finished almost all of our bottles last week, it was just a painful process instead of her 5 minute, I'm drinking it all no problem, routine.
