I'm so confused...(updated: new due date!)

about my due date and how many weeks pregnant I am.  I thought I was 15 weeks pregnant. But my ticker says 14, based on the due date of October 21st.  My NT scan was on April 2nd.  I scheduled it then because my OB said I would be 12 weeks and 1 day.  I was measuring a little ahead even on that date, 12 weeks, 5 days, but my ob said that we were keeping my due date the same.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but doesn't me being 12 weeks, 1 day on April 2nd according to the ob mean that I'm 15 weeks today? And due October 14th or 15th or something?

Ack! When I was charting I was so on top of this.

 Update:

My suspicions were correct.  He kept it at the date of my LMP.  And, since he said my LMP didn't differ too much from the measurement that he just never changed me to October 21st, he just told me that date "if I wanted to know." My doctor and I have a relationship where we joke around with one another, so I was like, "Oh so you thought I wouldn't notice a discrepancy between what the screen says and what you told me. You picked the wrong girl for that kind of game."   He laughed, and said he is keeping me October 14th, so that's my due date. I'm going with that one.So yay, I gained a week.

    i am no help...i have two due dates.  one from each doctor. Huh?

    but i think what mands says makes sense...so lets go with that :)

    i'm no help either, but i think what mands said is right. i remember being confused by this when I was pg with H and i wound up just telling people i was "X weeks" pregnant whatever my ticker said. :)  and i had to go to a website every.dang.time to calculate my months along based on due date. for some reason i had a serious mental block with that nonsense!

    We'll go with what Mands said lol. When I was KU with j the hospital told me I was 2 or 3 weeks further along than my ob told me.  I told my dr when I went back and he saw I was measuring further along but wouldn't change my due date even though I knew we conceived march 28 making the hospital right. I had j exactly 40 weeks by hospital but 37 weeks by dr.  It all confuses me Lol

    Ok, so I did a little research, and my ultrasound photo actually said 12 weeks, 1 day.  That actually lines up with my original LMP date.  I just think the ob never changed it, even though he said he would.  So he still has my date in as October 16th.   That's the discrepancy right there!  So at least all of my appointments will be a week early, haha.  A/S at 19 weeks, yay!

    That's strange that he never changed your due date. I wouldn't like that at all. Now, when Oct 21st comes along you're going to be upset that you're "late" and you might get pressured into getting induced a week before you really need to be.

    And if you go overdue you don't have to feel too bad about it. Like the girls on TB who are "I know when I Oed so I'm actually due 2 weeks before my due date"...then they still go 2 weeks past their due date. lol

    Yeah, he said they only change it if it's over a week off.  I guess at just one week off, they don't. But that's a good point about the induction.  I will keep that in mind if I do get "late."  But the thing is, at my 12 week ultrasound, I was measuring 12 weeks, 5 days, so I'm thinking the LMP date is more correct.  That date actually lines up more for when I actually had sex as well.  I guess it's a crapshoot anyway Tongue Tied
