listen, you are all liars!

in 3rd Trimester

after feeling sick and dizzy this morning, a horrendous afternoon of work-related stuff and getting hypochondriac- frantic my BP was skyrocketing and was sure to be in a coma by nightfall.......... i went to not one but THREE drugstores to find a goddamned BP machine AND NOT ONE HAD IT!

 

walgreens had some 'walk in clinic' thing, and i said "listen just take my BP" she said "not unless you give me ALL your info and pay!"   i didnt bring my wallet into the store so i left, and almost cried. cried ok!

 

but now i feel better, so whateve heheh

    lol!  Mod why didn't you just stop by your ob's office?  They probably would have taken your BP for you.  It's not like it would take them more than a couple minutes!  I can't believe you wandered all over going to pharmacies looking for a machine!  Gosh girl!

    That is so bizarre!

    I had bp issues at the end with my son so I just bought a cuff this time....It was $50, but well worth it!

    becauseeeee my Dr is at least 30 mins away in rushhour, and i knew, deep down, my BP was ok. lol

    That's stupid.  Come to my house-I'll take it for you.  I worked in a pharmacy for 5 years and we never asked anyone for money or any sort of medical history if they wanted a BP reading.  *Sigh*

    Oh, ok.  But if you spent more than 30 minutes trying to find a pharamacy that wasn't wacked out it might still have been worth it to go to the OB.

    The fire department!  They do free blood pressure checks as long as they are in the fire house... well, at least here in Hawaii they do.

    well duh tarta, but i didnt KNOW i was going to spend that much time finding one.  dont get me uspet! my BP will rise again! lolz

    Oooh sorry!  I don't wanna get your BP up again.  Then you'd have to find an after hours BP machine to check it!
