Took a spill today :(

I was standing outside the bank and they had all this signage explaining that you had to use the other door. As I walked forward, reading the signs, wondering why they needed so many signs, I didn't notice the curb, tripped, and fell, hard. Somehow (I don't know how) I had the presence of mind to put my hands out so I landed on my hands and knees, and not my belly. I sat there for like a minute, startled, before going into the bank. I thinkthings are okay, she's been kicking much of the today. The worst part is, the entire front part of the bank is all windows. So they all saw me and no one came out to help the pregnant lady up, and not a single person even asked if I was okay.

    I'm sorry that you fell and that people are a holes.  But, thank goodness it wasn't on your belly.  But, I am sure it was scary.  If you feel OK and she is kicking I am sure all is good.

    Ugh, people suck. I am glad you caught yourself though. Feel better.

    I'm glad you are okay!

    People suck. When I was pregnant with Shane, someone knocked me down at the bottom of an escalator and then stepped over me like I didn't exist. A bunch of other people also walked past. A woman with a toddler on her hip stopped to help me up as I was screaming obscenities at the asswipe who pushed me down.

    I also took a spill!  Walking out of Jimmy John's and as you leave all the employees start screaming something at you...."Have a good day, thanks for coming, come again."  It was so distracting I didn't notice what part of the sidewalk I was on and before I know it I stepped off the curb unevenly and landed in the parking lot.  And like you I had the presence of mind to drop everything in my hands and put my hands out so that my hands and knees to the brunt of my fall.  And like you not one person came to help or ask if I was okay.  I hope you are feeling better...I'm still sore and bruised.
