Flu shot

For those that had their lo's get a flu shot. Did they have any reactions to the second dose? Myles was given his second dose on Weds at his 9 month visit. I had to pick him up yesterday at daycare because he had a temp of 102.5. At 1am I checked it again and it was 103.5. I took him to the Pedi today because I noticed that his neck was stiff and would cry when I tried to move his head. They sent us to have an xray and some bloodwork done. I have a follow up tomorrow, but I was wondering if any of u had a issue like this before?

    We skipped the flu shot, but T&P that he gets well quickly!  :( Poor baby.

    Gabe got a fever from both doses of the flu shot, but never more than 101 and we didn't need to give him tylenol for it at all.  That's probably not the flu shot.  Sounds like something else.  Probably another virus from daycare.  I hope he feels better soon!!!

     

    Side note:  do you live outside the US? I figured you live south of the equator since you are just now getting the flu shot.

    DS was a mess after his 6 month shots, and I attributed it to the flu shot, BUT when he got his booster a month later, he didn't react at all, so I don't think it was the flu shot.

    Interesting!  

    I really hope he feels better.  Don't be afraid to call pedis after hours number if he gets worse.
