When did you start giving DC cheese?  What kind and how much?

    We started giving him little bits of cheese a few weeks ago.  We give him provel which is a local mix i believe.  It's a super soft white cheese that pretty much melts in his mouth.  He loves it.

    I don't remember when we started, but I now buy the colby cheese sticks and break them up for her.  She LOVES that stuff!  I've tried regular string cheese and she doesn't dig that so much.  Also, the already cubed cheese is handy, but i still need to cut it for DD.

    I probably started giving DD bits of cheese at 6.5 or 7 months.  We give mild cheeses, like mozerella or montery jack.  We just give her small bits and she seems to love it.

    I've given DS small bits of cheddar and today he had a tiny bit of Feta.
