Wait....what?!?!?! Is it bad that I haven't done any of these---and this is kid number 2 for me...
Alright! I checked back just in time for the May Mommy invasion!
Sowwy. We're all huge and fat and pregnant and sitting around bored waiting to pop these babies out. We're having a wine/sushi/anti-prenatal vitamin party and you guys provided some much needed entertainment to us today.
Hey, I'm just enjoying the show! You guys just added a new sub-plot: board-against-board drama.
Fo realz. I think this should be a Friday tradition. Every board picks another board and then goes to town!
Funny, I don't even post on the May board...I just hear about your non-sense through other things and find Octomoms are quite ridiculous.
I think y'all should stick around to field pedicure/hair dye/sushi questions!
I'm not going to not post because you tell me not to. I have no idea what other posts have been making you "twitchy". The nurse who saw me had never met me before, and therefore had no idea if I was susceptible to becoming anemic or not. You have no right to tell me what to do or what not to do.
And you have no right to deprive your BABY of essential nutrients and vitamins it needs because "you don't want to be sick"!!! GTFO. It's like talking to a petulant teenager.
Sjgurl you have NO right to dictate what another parent should and should not do for their child.
also- you have no right to spell the word "girl" g-u-r-l. What are you, 12?

The point of us posting isn't to say, "Our BMB is better than yours," or anything like that. I rarely even post on TB anymore because the drama on all the boards (hello, tri boards!) can be absurd. And I see a lot of drama that I skip right over because it's NMS. However, I was seriously so disturbed by what I saw here (a bunch of women "forbidding" another poster from posting anymore until she took vitamins?) that I had to say something. You have years and years to be judgmental of other moms for not doing things the way you do them-- why waste all your energy now?

LOL, we all asked those questions before...and I think those questions are fine. It's just ridiculous to call someone out and bully them for their decision to why they do or don't do something. FFS GDIAF. I know May mom's who don't think it was wise to get membranes swept or to have a glass of wine, but we don't attack each other. Get the f**k over yourself.

Add me to the list of horrible moms who rarely takes their prenatal. Oh, and I also eat sushi whenever we have the money to do so, and I get a latte a couple times a week. Seriously, you women are going wayyyy overboard with flaming this chick for not taking a prenatal. Its not like she's smoking a pack a day and pounding down beer every night. I think if not taking a prenatal is helping her eat and keep food down, then it'd be better if she skip the prenatal in favor of eating. And I daresay most doctors would agree.

I am far from uppity or know it all - I haven't commented on this thread at all until there was this huge invasion. Sure, I think she should take her PNVs but I'm not going to call her out for choosing to not do so.

Actually, I can answer yes to all of the above!
Wow, bravo! I'd have to have 85k socked away to have half of our annual earnings. You're doing quite well.

I think only one person actually said that they forbid the other person from posting. Not sure how that translates into the entire board being judgmental.
Hey October Board - we were just saying yesterday that our board was drama-free and that everyone was always so nice. Looks like we've got ourselves a different reputation now, based on one thread.

I think you 3rd triers are missing the point. This chick is generally an idiot, her history can show that. We aren't "flaming" her just because she won't take her prenatal. It's more on the principal of WHY she won't take it. Which is basically because she doesn't feel like it.
And FWIW, I don't generally give a flying *** about any of those other things. I don't like sushi, but I've had coffee, and soda, and lunch meat since I've been pregnant. No one in this thread has talked about any of those things so you guys bringing it up is kind of a moot point.

Oh and btw, I have a large coffee almost every morning, ate a cold turkey sandwich pretty much every day for lunch in my 1st and 2nd Tri, have eaten sushi at least 3 times, get my hair dyed, and get mani/pedis and I'm having a wonderful pregnancy, and am measuring perfectly. Baby's u/s look perfect too! Oh, and I take my PNVs maybe about once a week.
I really just posted so I could see how much my ticker has changed!

I saw quite a few October moms reply quote the original sentiment made saying this particular person is not allowed to post, and add their little thumbs up... pretty sure that means they're on board with banning her from posting till she does what they want her to do. Not that its even possible for any of you to keep anyone from posting on a public message board... but, regardless, I think its safe to say its more than one person that's on the "banning non-prenatal-popping mom from posting" train.

I'm pretty sure the first page was lots of you going at her for not taking them. Who f***ing cares if she doesn't feel like taking them? I don't feel like taking them either. Who is to say how she eats? Does she eat unhealthy? Do YOU stare at everything she puts in her body? Do YOU see her lab results? And either way, who has any right to say you can't post on a PUBLIC board.
Respect each other. Your history of this board is well known. Get over it and chug some wine.

No, but had the OP said that SHE had been eating lunch meat and/or drinking coffee or soda, looks like you would've flamed her for that. And I'm sure nobody did the research on her idiocy. Whether you agree with her or not, what she decides to do with her PNV is her choice, just as its YOUR choice to drink soda.
It just looks like you all reached your hormonal train station all on the same day.

I'll agree that this topic went a little off the deep end and you can blame me for pretty much ratting you out to my May mommies. I was just in disbelief with the amount of judgment and disrespect going on over here that I had to share. Now...I just want to say again, what business is it of any of yours even if this girl "doesn't want to" take her prenatals? I think the other random stuff got brought up because in the grand scheme of things it is so not a big deal, you know?
Just throwing it out there- I didn't take my PNV from week 7 to 24 because my doctor told me NOT to.
Also- I eat sushi once or twice a week.
I also take baths
I enjoy deli meat
And I dye my hair.
ZOMG you're such a bad ass... I take baths, eat deli meat, dye my hair, drink pop but Christy is silly. Pretty sure this post is more about calling her out for being that, then the PNV thing.
I'm not going to someone elses board to defend someone I don't even know. You all sound like a bunch idiots. Thanks for the lame entertainment though....

I still think its amazing that all of these women are doing so well in their pregnancies, and there is NOTHING wrong or concerning about their pregnancies, and they have followed ALL their doctors orders, that they are even in the position to be telling someone else how they should be handling their pregnancy. Bloody hell. I hope they don't mix up your baby with hers in the nursery. You won't know what to do with a 7 headed, 15 toed baby.

Not taken a prenatel in lord knows how long
Drank wine (white and red)
Drink caffeine
Eat lunch meat
Am in sweet love with cookie dough
Eat carbs on my GD diet
Don't exercise
Don't do kegels
Take baths
Um...what else am I not supposed to do? I'm pretty sure I do that also. Shh, don't tell, I work for CPS!
