next week we are going out of town. DH is going backpacking with the guys (something he does every year) while DS and I will be staying with his mom FOR FIVE DAYS. MIL hated me until I birthed her grandson; now, I think, she just tolerates me.

Anyway, dh keeps referring to it as a 'vacation.' poor, silly dh. he can be so dumb sometimes.

    I hope he means HIS vacation and not yours. That is no vacation for you!

    In the same boat with my MIL. I would NEVER EVER stay with her  and especially not for 5 days. HA! All I can say is he better make it up to you and you should bring some vodka.
