Question about rolling over

DS rolled over from back to tummy a month ago but I think it was by accident. Last night he rolled over again but wasn't able to do it this morning during tummy time. When your LO started rolling over did they do it consistently after the first time or did it happen sporadically for a little while to start?

    DS rolled over 2 days before he turned 2 months old. He did it 7 times that day. He hasn't done it since. It makes me sad...

    Mine doesn't even try. She loathes tummy time I think because of her reflux.

    DD rolled from tummy to back for the first time this week and has done it a few times each day since. That may not be the norm.

    Now we're just waiting on back to tummy. She is SO CLOSE.

    I was just going to post the same question. DS rolled over on wed but hasn't done it again. It didn't seem like an accident but now I wondering if it was more of a fluke. Reading everyone else answers seem like its kinda normal to not do it again right away

    Mine attempted to roll back to front at 9 weeks and hasn't tried since.  She'll roll when she's ready and until then I'm enjoying that I dont' have a mobile baby yet because once they roll both ways it's not long until they are moving around!

    Daughter #1 - February 12, 2010 

    natural m/c March 11, 2011 at 8 1/2 weeks 

    Daughter #2 - January 11, 2012 

    Ectopic pregnancy discovered November 6, 2012 at 6 weeks

    Daughter #3 - January 19, 2014

    Started our exploration into the world of international adoption June 2012.  We have no idea what this is going to look like but we are excited to find out!

    DD hasn't consistently rolled over yet and she's 3 months. When she's mad about tummy time she rolls, but I think it's to get off her belly.

    DS has been doing the tummy to back roll for a couple of weeks. He just did back to side to tummy tonight...in his crib!!! Now I have that to worry about ha ha..

    Same as this for me. I've been waiting for that second roll!
