Double names

His name was going to be Dominic James but we changed our minds because we thought it was becoming popular. I think there are a couple ladies on here that have LOs with Dominic James.

Charles Matheson, we call him Charlie.
Charles is my great grandfather & DH's great uncle.
Matheson means "son of Matthew"- DH's name is Matthew.
We wanted a name that wasn't popular. I work on a Maternity unit and after we picked Charlie out and had it monogrammed on some things we had 18 babies one night and 4 were named Charlie! During the last weeks of my pregnancy I felt like at least one of my patients per day had named their son Charlie.
Amelia Ruth O.
Amelia because I love it. We're calling her "Mia" as a nickname. Ruth to honor my favorite great-aunt.
Hudson Patrick
Patrick is my FIL and Hudson is just a name we loved.

Melodic Insomniac
Joshua Thomas. Thomas is DH's grandfather's name and his middle name. Joshua we just liked- familiar but not overused.
We call him Josh, Joshy, and all kinds of other silly things.
Eli Harrison
My DH is a 4th generation and I wasn't having the 5th, but I kept the middle name Harrison for the tradition. We liked the nickname Eli, but couldn't agree on a "full" (Elijah, Elias, Ellis) version of the name, so he just ended up Eli.
My LO's name is Miles Victorino.
Victorino was DH's grandfather's. He passed away right around the time that Miles was conceived.

My dh loved Austin and Anthony is all the men in my family's middle name.
That's my niece's name.
