Happy Dance Nicholas peed on the potty at school for the 1st time.

You might remember that I posted last week about him only wanting to pee or poop on the potty at home. He'd hold it for up to 5 hours while at school or even at my mom's house when she babysat him. He just would not go anywhere but at home- even if we brought his potty seat with us.

I spoke to his teacher on Tuesday and told her to please let me know if/when he uses the potty (they sit them on the potty at scheduled times) and told her what the Pedi had said about it not being good for him to hold it for hours and hours.

My mom just called. One of the teacher Aides (friend of mine) at his school just texted my mom and said Nicholas peed on the potty for the 1st time at school. My friend and Nicholas' teacher were both cheering him and dancing around they were so proud of him. Nicholas looked at them like they were crazy.

Oh and he pooped on the potty too yesterday. He had been saving it for naptime/bedtime when he was in a Pull Up or Overnite. Yesterday he did it on the potty. I danced around and gave him so much praise. Poor Ava was sitting in her high chair eating dinner and probably thinking "What the hell do I have to do to get woo hoos around here?!"

He is getting there.
