Cloth Diapering

Now this ROCKS.

Make your own wool dryer balls!  I'm in the process of felting them now.  I got 3 packs of wool yarn for $4 each, and got 2 first stage balls out of 1 pack.  I'll be able to have 6 finished wool balls for $16!

  • I made these and they're great! I used multi colored yarn too, so they're pretty :)

  • Thanks!  This will make great gifts, too!  I know some are scented with EOs--not sure at what point that is added though, do you?

  • I don't actually know, but I'm washing them while I strip my CDs - so I was just going to add tea tree to the last rinse like usual, and see how that works on the dryer balls.  I'll let you know :)

  • Yes!! I am so excited to make these. A good way to get rid of the pesky wool leftovers in my yarn stash.

  • Make sure you felt them in many different stages, and then felt them really well on the last one.

I've made them a couple of times, and they've always fallen apart.
