I feel so discouraged. What were your ute lining measurements after week 1 and week 2 on estrogen? Mine is the same as last week about an 8. I feel like it should have grown eapecially since I am on almost double the dose I was a week ago. I just feel so aggrivated right now. How long were you on estrogen before your transfer? What was your dose by transfer? I am on 5 pills. This is for my mock DE.

I don't think E2 is necessarily the be-all end-all and it's definitely not a linear connection. I've had lining measurements that were around 8-9 with astronomical E2 levels and really fat lining from natural cycles where my E2 was comparatively low. Don't forget that operator differences and equipment sensitivity can make the measurement ? a few mm, as with the actual site of measurement; the value should be an average of several readings.
To answer your question, the clinics I have been with want at least a 7 and 3 weeks of E2 support; 8 is good, 9 is better but not necessary. 2mg estrace orally 2x/day or up to 4 patches every other day, or a combo of estrace and patches if lining measures less than 8. I found that if you reach the minimum they don't go digging or more measurements. What make you think your lining is in poor shape?
Hang in there, this is what the mock cycle is all about. If you need 4 weeks to reach their minimums, the mock just determines when you start meds relative to your donor, so there is no "failing" this part of the process. It just lets the REs know how best to coordinate you or what meds best serve you.
Perhaps you'll respond better to another form of estrogen. Will you be going back for another check? If you need to hit 8 to get into the program and you're really really close, perhaps the person doing the measurement could be extra very sure that you're not below that measurement...
ETA: I made an error, 14, 17, and 15 days on estrogen before progesterone is added.
I think they will order another u/s since I was instructed to take the estrogen until 4/23. I will find out later tonight. That is one of the things I hate. I am on the east coast and with the time difference I end up waiting 12 hours before I know anything. They get back to me pretty late. Thanks for your help.
