Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

When did your LO outgrow Jumperoo?

Just wondering when your LO basically stopped using the Jumperoo.  We are moving home to the US from overseas when LO will be 8 months old, but will be with grandparents until he is 10 months old and they have one too (that will stay at their house).

Trying to figure out if I should lug it home in our shipment to use after 10 months of age?

 Thanks so much!

  • As soon as my daughter started crawling, she would no longer tolerate being in the bouncy.

  • I still use it with my 16 moth old sometimes when I need to shower. Sometimes she will tolerate it sometimes she won't. She sat in it today when we got home from the grocery store and I didn't want her to go down the stairs.

  • He used it till almost the weight limit, I think! For sure he was done well before 1 year
  • We used ours for quite awhile when only one was of us was home and we needed to shower or something.

  • As soon as he was mobile. He was never good for more than 10 minutes in it, though.

She stopped tolerating the jumperoo once she could sit independently around 6 months.

This! DS had loved it, but as soon as he could crawl well he wanted nothing to do with it! That was around 8-9 months old.

  • We used ours until well after a year and eventually just put it away.  While visiting my sister a month or so ago he was very interested in playing with his cousins and even played in it one day.

Of course my son is on the small side and is probably about the size of a one year old at 19 months.

  • She was about 8 months old when we stopped using the jumperoo. I wouldn't bother shipping it.

  • He started crawling around 7 months and that was pretty much the end of him tolerating the jumperoo. I wouldn't take it.

  • She used it 3.5-5.5 mos. However, she's never been one to like being confined, no matter how entertaining.

  • She didn't want anything to do with it when she starting walking, so 10 months.
  • Until she hit the weight limit on it, which for her would have been probably around 9-10 months old. Wish that thing would have lasted longer. It was a lifesaver!

  • Around 9 months when DD started cruising.

  • Around 8 months when he started really cruising. However, he still tolerates his exersaucer, and sits in it for a couple minutes each day if I need to shower or something.

Yep.  It was a little before she started crawling, actually - around 8 months.

  • My DD is very small, still 4 pounds below the weight limit, and still uses it occasionally.
