So, my scheduled day is almost here! I am so excited to meet LO, but today I am a complete anxious mess. I have stuff to do but am just sitting all tense on the couch. Any tips? I didn't sleep last night and am sure I won't tonight. Ugh. I just want this done and over!
Re: C-Section scheduled tomorrow...how to help with anxiety?
Thanks:-) People keep asking if I am excited. Well, I am, but nothing feels real. This is our first (after a few miscarriages) and it just feels like I am going in for surgery. It still hasn't hit home that this LO in my belly will be here tomorrow. So hard to explain.
Good luck to you too! I hope the next few months go quickly for you! I know this pregnancy has seemed like an eternity to me!
i ended up having an emergency c section after pushing for a few hours on March 25th. Never wanted to go the CS route but had no choice.. I was a nervous wreck for both. Just try and stay calm, as your nerves will up your blood pressure and you don't want that. Just know that a scheduled csection will be much faster and smoother than an emergency one. within an hour or two of getting to the hospital you will have your baby in your arms!!! Good Luck and congrats!
P.S make sure to take it easy for healing afterwards... it will make a world of difference.
My baby is in the butt first folded like a V position. I guess it is called Frank Breech position. That is why I am having it scheduled. I will be awake with a Spinal, and that freaks me out, but I hear it goes quickly and that scheduled is easier than emergency, since I won't have the trauma of labor too!
Thanks for making me feel better about it!
First of all, to the OP- I just want to say best of luck! I found out I will also need a c/s for my LO to come out safe and it's scheduled for Monday the 23rd. I was upset at first but now I'm just anxious for the time to come- I can't imagine how the night before will feel!
I want to say thanks so much to the people posting your positive experiences with c/s on here! It's such a huge help to hear it was no big deal.
