Progesterone levels 5 days after IUI

I will preface my question by stating that I know progesterone levels are not indicators of pregnancy, especially this early, and I know the high number is probably due to my lovely suppositories... but, I can't help but wonder if maybe things might perk up for me? Embarrassed

So, 5 days after IUI, my p4 was 36... it has NEVER been this high. EVER. I did months of monitored clomid, and TI, then 2 IUI's, and 2 IVF's ALL supplemented with progesterone during my luteal phase (either PIO injections or supps)... I have NEVER been above 20. Today, it was at 36. I also did an HCG booster shot tonight.

What have all of yours been? If I am not pregnant, which I probably will not be, does this just mean it will take longer to start AF since my number is high? I have always started AF before my betas for all the above mentioned treatments.

    Me too!!!! But, I am not getting my hopes up, I am just intrigued by all of this!

    Is this your first cycle with the booster shots?  Sometimes they can help raise it and sometimes they can push back AF.  They usually gave me a few extra days of keeping AF away.  Maybe that's what you need!  IDK about 5 days after IUI with progesterone being high as an indicator.  Seems like it'd be too early but who knows.  Either way I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
