Pets: 1 retired former racehorse turned show jumper named Oliver who, much like our new beloved in my belly, hates all things sugar and will only eat fruit and veggies treats. I personally think something is wrong with that but at 29 years young he might know best. I've been working on a dog for a few years now and I think once we move I may win! The pup shelters and rescues are on alert.
Favorite college team(s): Go Bears and Go Bucks! We have a Heisman in the family for Ohio State, so we cheer loudly. (Though I do point out to his family that we are two under 6' attorneys so don't count on a continued tradition unless we can win it in chess or worse, soccer.) We're hoping to fly back for the Cal/OSU game this fall with a "Belly Divided" shirt on for the game.
Favorite pro sports teams: we now have "our" teams - Anaheim Ducks/Columbus Blue Jackets, Angels/Cinci Reds, Oakland Raiders/Cinci Bengals. I do cheer for the Yankees (family ties there) though its difficult with my Goddaughter being a Sox fan. LA Galaxy - its easy to cheer for "soccer" when Beckham takes his shirt off. Yes, I have vetoed the name Beckham "regardless of gender" much to hubby's dismay. DH is a former sports writer so we're a big sports-watching household.
Harry Potter, Twilight, or Hunger Games: I've at least seen a couple Harry Potter films so I'll go with that. I'm considering reading the Hunger Games, but not sure since I'm averse to the premise in general.
TV Guilty Pleasure: I *love* Hart of Dixie! My guilty pleasure was Moonshiners when it was on Discovery. I thought it was a period piece until a girlfriend pointed out "Oh no, its real and its now!" Now my wife-only viewing is GCB.
