Amazing and Cute!

Today, DS and I were at BRU.  He was in the front of the shopping cart. 

An older couple (grandparents) were nearby, and the grandpa was holding his toddler granddaughter.  From afar, she and DS started communicating.  She was 16 mos.  Grandpa brought her closer.

The cutest part was that she was oriental and speaking her native language, and DS was doing his best at baby babble.  

I found it amazing that although they were "speaking" totally different languages, and DS was not even clearly speaking at all, they completely understood each other, laughing simultaneously, and listening when appropriate. 

These little people we're raising are unbelievable!

    Love it! We had something similar happen and at BRU too! the other baby was younger though but it still looked like they were "conversing"! Too cute!

    Not trying to be a b!atch, but people are Asian, not "oriental". 

    That aside, your story is super cute.
