DPO calculation with trigger

This is a silly question and related to a post I made earlier this week.  When you trigger how do you count DPO?  Do you count them as days past trigger?

I'm asking because tomorrow is 14 days past trigger so the negative test I got this morning is either a pretty conclusive BFN at 13 DPO or a hopefully too early BFN at 11 DPO.

    I chart.. but my RE said to test 2 weeks past trigger.

    I do not count dpt...I just count from the day that I ovulate since that is the actual time period that I care about.  11dpo is too early.
    DX: Anovulation
    TX: IUI #1-4 = BFN + 1 c/p
    IUI #5: Clomid 100mg + Bravelle + Trigger + B2B IUIs + 800mg Progesterone = BFP!
    Beta #1 (14dpiui): 460 Beta #2 (16dpiui): 998 Beta #3 (23dpiui): 21,832 Beta #4 (29dpiui): 129,771

    Typically you ovulate around 36 hours after the trigger so I would count 14 days from there.

    But I have never done TI, so I count 14dpIUI and have a beta done then.

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!

    I do days past trigger.  My RE schedules betas for 2 weeks + 4 days past trigger.

    16dpt is usually 14dpo so that's when is common to test.  

    TTC since July 2009. Dx MFI & LPD. 
    IUI#1&2&3 (2011 & 2012) BFN
    IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)
    IUI#5 BFN (April 2013)
    IVF w/ICSI Oct. 2, 2012 - 13R, 11M, 7F, 1 frozen blast 4BB grade - - - FET Nov 15, 2013
    BFP! Beta 1:104 @ 10dp6dt, Beta 2:178 @ 12dp6dt,  beta 3:366 @ 14dp6dt
    Saw heartbeat twice before missed M/C at 8w3d on 12/27/13, missing my little angel boy
    JUNE 2014 IVF#2;  5R, 2M, 1F Three day transfer 6/7.  Beta 6/18 - BFN
