You're a total moron. If I recall correctly from a post of yours on TTGP, your main reason for not wanting to bf is so that you can start going out and partying with your friends again as soon as possible after having a baby, as though a having baby were along the same lines as having a dog you had successfully house trained and could therefore leave alone for long periods of time. You're selfish and stupid, furthermore evidenced by the above.
If we weren't talking about putting an unborn baby at risk, I'd say "go tanning!"
July 20th, 2012: Never forget the day the fb douchebags tried so hard, but ultimately failed. Viva la October 2011! Yeah, I called you douchebags.

I go to the tanning bed when I'm not pregnant. I go once a week for no more than 5-7 minutes. I haven't stepped foot anywhere near a tanning bed since I started TTC. I am so pale it's disgusting, but I don't care. No way I'd risk my babies. However, when I finish breast feeding (or possibly before depending on how my Vitamin D levels are and if my doctor says it's ok) I will start going back.
Skip the tanning bed. Trust me...you won't die if you go one summer without a tan.
Pale is not disgusting. Do you realize melanoma is the third most common cancer causing brain metastases? Dying of mets on the brain is much worse than pale skin.
The sun can be safe in small doses. Vitamin D can do wonders for the body. However, a tanning bed is absolutely not the equivalent of being outside in the sun for a little while. Tanning beds are not safe anytime, especially while pregnant! If you have to be golden this summer go get a spray tan! Don't put your baby at risk because of your vanity.

Pale is not disgusting. It's healthy. You were born with your complexion for a reason. Embrace it.
Amen. I think it's really sad that in our culture pale=ugly.

Yeah, really. I stay out of the sun and have no wrinkles. I am 36 and people generally think I am in my mid-twenties. Those of you who are tan now will look 45 by the time you are 35. Why do you want disgusting leathery skin?
I once a week for 5-7 minutes because my body does not absorb vitamin D through diet or supplementation due to a surgical procedure. In my case the dangers of vitamin D deficiency (per my doctor who was the one who told me to start using the tanning bed after all other methods failed) are far more serious than the risk of five flipping minutes in a tanning bed. I'm so glad that you are the expert on how my skin will look when I look 35. I am already very close to that age BTW and I don't even have the beginnings of a single wrinkle or blemish on my skin. I'm far from looking like leather, and I'm surprised I have to tell you this since you're such an expert on tanning, but 5 minutes a week isn't even enough to really give me a tan. In fact, even when I am going once a week people still comment on how pale I am.
Whatever. You're an idiot and I have no idea why I wasted my time typing all that out.
