Probably because I really want it to be a boy. We'd be happy with a girl too but we both are hoping for a boy.
My pregnancy is also pretty different than my last. I'm carrying very low this time and showing more in front than all over. I was sick this time and last time I wasn't.
Girl - We keep calling her a her :-) But I had two dreams super early on that it was a boy....so IDK - we want one of each eventually, so whatever way it comes will be okay. If its a girl we are naming her Dorothy, after her great great grandma who is still alive...so that would be cool to get a 5 generation pic!
My gut feeling is girl. And it's not just because I'm not-so-secretly hoping for a girl, but based on how different this pregnancy is and how a lot of the old wives tales point to girl. I've been way more nauseous this pregnancy, I've been breaking out all over my body, I've been craving sweet when with DS all I craved was salt, and the baby's heart rate has consistently been high (over 160.) I know it doesn't mean much, but it still makes me think girl. All the chinese gender charts say boy, but they were wrong for DS as well :P
I feel the same way! I FEEL like its a boy..because thats what we wanted first...but we will be happy with either! We haven't picked ANY girl names! We have 2 weeks until we find out!
I have had a very strong feeling since 4.5 weeks that its a girl. We found out a few days before my missed period and so for about a week I was thinking I was going to be one of those women that had no idea, but for some reason at 4.5 weeks it just hit me that I thought it was a girl. A few weeks later I had a very strong dream about it, and so I think thats why Im convinced. About 75% of people who have guessed what the baby is so far think its a girl.
.Became a mama to my sweet little boy after 3 years of waiting and praying in October '12.

DH and I both had dreams early on that we were having a boy! My dream was the night before my initial appt, which I managed to get at 7 wks. In my dream, I went in for the visit and delivered the baby. Dream-me's explanation was "oh, I guess I was 7 months instead of 7 weeks". I told DH about the dream and he said he'd had one too about a boy, so we're both thinking we'll have a son. But we'll know soon enough!
I have a feeling at the moment that its a girl. Everyone else is saying boy (which is what I want) but I have just been having girl vibes. According to old wives tales and chinese calender thing its a girl. But we are team green, so we will see in Oct!
I want a boy but every single old wives tale AND the chinese calendar AND heart rate thing AND my gut all say girl...of course I will be fantastically happy either way.
I feel like I'm having a boy just based on my feelings after seeing him/her on the ultrasound and sort of "bonding" with the picture. True, it's just instinct, but hey I could be right! Lol

DH and I both have a gut feeling it's a boy. My parents and siblings all think I'm having a boy too. I can't explain it, but we refer to the boy as a "he" since seeing our first ultrasound. Guess we'll find out for sure in October!
During the US last week the tech said "he" after looking at his leg shot. I did not question her on it, so it may have just been a generic "he". But she was referring to it as the baby until that shot.
As bad as we want a little girl. I have a feeling it is a boy I dont know why but its just this gut feeling. DH,my family, and his family all say that we must have girl thoughts!
Because I have 2 already and really want a girl...my uterus likes to spite me.
I am in the same boat, 2 boys and hoping for a baby girl! Dr. guessed at 12 weeks boy, I was a little disappointed but he could still be wrong and I realized my boys have been tons of fun, it wouldn't be sooo bad to have another little man running around!
Boy. Not really sure why. If all of the wives tales are true then its a boy. Every one of those have said the same thing. I'd love to have a girl too. We don't care either way. My H thinks its a girl.

My gut feeling since the beginning has been girl. I would really love to have a girl as my first child, so I have started second guessing ever since my apt. on Tuesday. Now I am convincing myself that it is a boy so I don't get my hopes up for a girl. Not that I won't love my little boy just as much and we do want one of each eventually. I just pictured this baby being a girl...

I have a gut feeling that it's a boy. This is my first so I'm really not leaning one way or the other in terms of preference, but just think it's a boy. Can't wait until the end of May to find out!!!

I think it's a boy, mostly because I REALLY want it to be a girl and so it'll probably be a boy. Although, Chinese gender and all the wives tales say girl. My MIL thinks it's a girl because she wants it to be a boy since she's terrified of girls because she only had two boys. My husband tells me one thing one day and another the next and when I ask him if he's sure he says 50% - ARG such a turd!
I have always wanted to have a girl first, but since the moment I have found out I have just had this feeling that it's a boy. I don't care either way. I am team green so we will find out in October.
Not really. I told myself when I first found out I was pregnant that I would think of it as a boy that way I wouldn't be disappointed if it was (I have a slight girl preference). However, I really have no instinct on this. But, I have come around to loving the thought of a boy too, so my self-deception worked.
Chinese calendar says boy, but based on heart rate and being sick at night, those would say girl. The two people who have guessed say girl.
My gut feeling is another girl. I had a dream that at the big u/s, I saw that it was a girl on the screen. If I had my choice, I would like to have a boy so that we could have our pair, but in all honesty, I just want a full term healthy baby.

I honestly have no idea this time. With DD I was convinced I was having a boy until we were told otherwise after our u/s. And although this pregnancy has been slightly different I'm not giving much thought into it being a boy, just because I have a few girl friends who have had totally different pregnancies with the same gender kids.....we've decided to be team green this time, so I guess we will find out in October

I think it's a boy and I don't really have a specific reason to think so. I just have a feeling. I have a 50/50 chance of being right. I would quite honestly be happy with either a boy or a girl though but love all the cute little girl clothes.

I have been feeling for a while that the baby is a girl. I had a dream early on that I had a girl, and I guess I just can't shake the feeling.
2 very close friends said they think girl.
DH said that at NT scan, he felt like he was watching a boy.
Now I don't know what to think!
Boy.

I've been calling the baby him since the BFP, so I guess subconsciously I think it's a boy.
My doc is betting on a boy too due to my lack of m/s.
Either way, so long as it's healthy though..

I don't have a gut feeling about it but everyone seems to think girl because I haven't been sick.
We aren't going to find out so it's going to be another 6 months of everyone telling me what I am going to have!
A friend of ours told me the other day that I had a lot of balls for a pregnant chick.
I said I hope so! We are thinking boy!

Chinese gender calendar says boy
I had a dream it is a boy.
This pregnancy is so different though so I am thinking girl.

Boy... I've been referring to the baby as a HE since I got my BFP... had 2 boy dreams also...
I hope I'm right, lol.
