Meant in the nicest way-anyone else just look bad?

So clearly this is not a major concern, but I just don't look good at all. I am not a cute pregnant chick AT ALL!

I have teenage acne, um I'm 36! I was already large chested, but now it looks like I have melons strapped to my chest! It seems I may have a small bump, but that is under huge bloat.

Im kind of nervous I'm going to carry like a tall version of jessi.ca simp.son. Which would be scary bc I'm actually 6 ft tall.

In the end it doesnt matter, I just want a healthy baby....but I'm not one of those women who pregnancy seems to be agreeing with. Oh well, I guess u win some and u loose some.

Anyone else feel like this?

::Frantically raising hand:: Um me, totally. I woke up to 5 new little zits and my pants wouldn't button over my blump today. Went to target after work to buy new pants, one size up, figuring I'd use them after the baby too. Um, one size up wouldn't button!! Refused to buy two sizes up. Bought a new dress with tights for tomorrow. Not sure what I'm gonna wear the next day!

I have to say that through the years of fertility treatments I always imagined that when I finally got and remained pregnant that I would totally rock the pregnancy. I imagined myself in designer maternity clothes, tight body-hugging dresses with platform heals...yeah, not so much. Not only does my face look like it survived WWII, my hair is falling out, I'm sprouting hair where I didn't think possible, my feet swell too much for high heels, and I look like a complete barrel. Not what I imagined at all!!

I will say though that I am very thankful for the little human growing inside my belly. Even if I was truly miserable and sick, I wouldn't care as long as my baby was healthy. It is just nice to see that someone else is feeling this way and I am not just a freak of nature!

I'm with ya! I don't think I'll be a cute pregnant chick at all. I was actually thinking today about when to start weekly bump pics and realized that I have no desire to be in a picture. Granted I don't look pregnant yet, just bloated, but still.

Yeah I kind of saw myself this way too. In fact, I bought a lot of cute designer maternity clothes....and I look like a walrus wearing pea in the po.d!

I feel the same, soooo grateful for the baby...just a bit blindsided by my ugliness lol.

Same here- I'm 5'10", my boobs are enormous and my bump hides under bloat. I'm hoping in a few weeks it pops some more and I can ditch the baggy clothes. I do have to say though, I so far love being pregnant.

My skin has been really bad, too - so I feel your pain! Although it has gotten better now that I am further along. I also, at the request of DH, haven't been getting my hair highlighted, so I look like a skunk

totally feel this way with the achne and the boobs! plus, since I haven't told the general population that I'm pregnant, they're probably all wondering what has happened to me!

me too me too! i was lucky enough to get through teenage years without acne so this is my first real experience with acne. and it is e.v.e.r.y where! i can't see down there anymore so i'm sure my trim jobs look like a hack saw. the cellulite on my rump and things is no joke. the leaky boobs are always sexy.

BUT (minus the scary complications) I'm havinig a blast watching my body change. I think it's hilarious. if i saw myself naked without a head I wouldn't know it was me.

I feel ugly. My butt has gotten huge, I swear I have gained as much there as in my belly. But my butt has stretch marks! I was so upset when I found those.

Me for sure. I'm already up 30 pounds (a lot of which is in my butt and thighs) and I have acne and red pigmenation all over my face! My face is also pretty chubby right now.

Oh well, I still love it and wouldn't change it for the world! All worth it in the end

Isn't there an old wives tale that if you "look less beautiful" while you're pregnant, it means you're having a girl because the baby is taking all your beauty?? Big Smile

I broke out really bad last week and it was depressing, and at the same time I finally got a bloat bump - so for the last week or so, I feel ugly and fat - but I sort of love it!

I look like hell, too. I have zits up and down my ARMS! One student asked if I had chicken pox. My students don't know I'm pg., I've just told them I have a medical condition. When I told her no, it's pimples, she said, "Ugh, hope I never get your medical condition." Thanks for making me feel fab. lady!

My weight has distributed ok (except my butt is a little bigger than I'd like) but my skin is just gross. Either it's broken out or it's just all dry and ashy. And I always look tired which isn't pretty.

I've heard this too. I tried to scroll through and look at the responses on this post just out of curiosity. There are pinks and greens. I don't see any blues. Wonder if you are onto something here? Stick out tongue

I'm only 6 weeks and already feeling this way. I have a huge blump and still no boobs (which basically means my belly sticks out as far as my boobs, how hot!)... and I'm ruddy-faced and pimply. It's really hard to disguise the blump at work, and I'm turning into the Queen of Baggy Tops and Yoga Pants.

I have to say I love the bloat though -- it reminds me I'm pregnant, so I'll take it!

I feel like a freaking beached whale! I kept reading that the bloat goes away towards end of 1st tri, well, I have yet to have that happen to me!

On Easter Sunday, we were invited to a brunch and someone there is 6.5 months pregnant. She's tall & thin, and she has this cute bump. Don't think that'll ever happen to me cuz I'm neither tall nor thin! Sad

I feel the same way! I was a cute size 12 before fertility treatments. After almost a year of treatments along with the emotional eating and IVF meds weight gain, I went up to a size 16. Add twins on top of that and I am afraid there will be zero clothes that will fit me later in pregnancy! I am going to make a lot of my own maternity clothes to be on the cuter side of things.

Acne is crazy. I believe I have a bump under my fat, but the bump is pushing my fat up (to the top of my belly) if that makes sense.

Of course I am thankful for the blessings and wouldn't trade any of this! Just wish I had watched my weight beforehand.

I have pimples EVERYWHERE. Of course they are mostly all over my face so everyone can see them.

I wasn't cute pg with ds, so I don't know why this would have been any different. Oh well!
