Success after IF

Tomorrow is Nicholas' 1st day of school in underwear

Wish us luck.   We were home for 10 days.   The only times I took him anywhere was last Monday for his 3 yr check up and today we went to the playground.   I packed clothing changes in his school bag and will tell his teacher how the week went (I informed her we were going to work on PT this week for Spring Break).  Now hopefully Nicholas will use the potty at school.   Not sure how that's going to go, since whenever I mentioned to him "Tomorrow when you go to school you have to tell Mrs R or Mrs A when you have to go on the potty", he replies "No I go on the potty at home".

  • Good luck!

  • I hope you are pleasantly surprised!  Worst thing that could happen is that he pees through all of his changes of clothes.  But with Nicholas, I predict he holds it until he gets home.

  • I wouldn't worry too much about it.  He's not the first one in his class that's gone thru potty training!!

I know for many programs at this age they make them try to go at various times through out the day (ie: before lunch = potty and wash hands).

Are there other kids in his class using the potty?  If so I'll bet he falls right in line with the heard and goes like a champ!

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
